It works

I used this for a trip to Cancun and used it at both- in the ocean and at a water park-and this protector did its work. Please note I didn't use it inside the ocean to take pictures, but just as a water protector. I was able to take pictures in the water park while my phone was still in the pouch so it served its purpose. I did the submersion with tissue test for 2 days in my bathtub before using.

Amazing product. I bought two, two years ago and they lasted two seasons of any trips to the water park, pool, and river. Touch screen does not work under water but if your camera is set up you can push the side button to take the shot or start and stop video. My pics and videos have turned out great! Mine finally cracked on the seam from the top but it was used a lot and I think my teen opened them too far when inserting her phone, so would suggest not prying it open too far in the top or forcing too many items into it and I always test time with a paper towel in the pool first just to be positive it won’t leak (everything produced will have an occasional defect) but so far I’ve had 4 with no defects.

Fit my iphone 8+ with room to spare, but I was still scared to use it in the ocean while snorkeling and decided to use an old phone (iphone 5s?) instead. Turns out I didn't have anything to worry about! My friend used the purple one for her iPhone 6+ and she didn't have any problems at all. I would definitely purchase again. I turned on assistive touch, but never used it. You aren't able to use the touch screen under water, of course but that was fine, so I just lifted the phone/case out of the water and did what I needed to do with no problem.
